This is the same cake that Four Flags in Red Bud used to make. It is a perfect light ending to any meal!
Ingredients –
Crust:
– 1-1/2 sticks butter
– 1-1/2 c. flour
– 1/2 c. pecans, finely chopped
Melt butter, stir in flour and nuts. Spread in 9 x 13 inch pan. Bake at 400 F. until golden.
Pie:
– 1 8 oz. cream cheese
– 1 c. sugar
– 2 small containers Cool Whip
– 2 chocolate instant puddings.
Mix cream cheese with sugar and small container of Cool Whip. Spread over cooled crust. Spread pudding, then other container of Cool Whip. Chill.
