German Sweet and Sour Green Beans

Ingredients –

– 3 cans of cut green beans
– 1/2 pound bacon, fried and crumbled
– 1/2 cup sugar
– Less than 1/2 cup cider vinegar
– 1 onion, diced
– Black Pepper

After frying bacon, reserve 3 tablespoons grease and mix with 3 tablespoons flour. Stir over medium heat until brown. Add about 1/4 cup of juice off green beans and sugar and vinegar. Stir over heat until thick. Add bacon and onion. Let sit a few minutes before serving for flavors to blend. Add pepper to taste.
